Heathen Works, LLC was founded in 2018 with a simple yet powerful vision: to create unique, handcrafted pyrographic art that captures the essence of the strange and rebellious. I began experimenting with woodburning as a way to merge craftsmanship with creativity. The technique quickly revealed a depth and patience that could only be achieved through the slow, deliberate process of burning into wood.

What began as a passion project rooted in my academic studies and love for heathen and Viking history quickly grew into a small business dedicated to authentic creative expression that kept me connected to the stories and artforms of the past. With a Master’s degree in Norse and Viking Studies, I specialized in religion and folklore, language, and runic inscriptions—an area of study that profoundly shaped my artistic vision. Over time, my artistic journey expanded, blending elements of the occult, the macabre, and the darkly unconventional. Today, Heathen Works reflects a fusion of these themes, bringing them to life through pyrography and other pursuits. Every piece I create is crafted with care and precision and designed to leave a lasting impression. I take pride in offering tailored pieces that are as unique as the stories behind them.

While constantly exploring new paths to artistic expression, Heathen Works is currently focused on making handcrafted pyrographic products including fine art, accessories, and home goods. Other works include jewelry, block printing, and papercraft.
